Davidson Youth Baseball Association (DYBA) is one of the premier youth baseball organizations in the Lake Norman area. With McEver Field as its centerpiece, DYBA has been offering baseball in our community since 1952. Gene McEver, for whom the field is named, was the original organizer, coach and leader of youth baseball in our community. Today, DYBA offers a community baseball program for boys and girls, ages 5-18 and a competitive program (Davidson Force) at the 8U through 14U levels.
DYBA is affiliated with Cal Ripken / Babe Ruth (CR/BR) Baseball which has over one million players on some 60,000+ teams in more than 11,000 leagues. DYBA partners with other local CR/BR leagues in the area to provide baseball in the fall and spring. Davidson Force teams are formed ...
