DYBA 8U Force Beats Lake Norman Phoenix

The DYBA 8U Force team has been putting in the work and it showed Wednesday night as they took down the LKNLL Phoenix team 23-11.

Gibson Stamey lead the Force, hitting for the cycle. As a team the Force had 34 hits in their 41 at bats, with every single player having at least 2 hits! The team is gaining strength, putting over 10 balls into the grass at beautiful McEver Field #3.

In the field the team had a lot of putouts, anchored by Tommy Miller snagging catches at first from Logan Stamey, Sawyer Olson, and more.

Our league umpire Bobby Mattice was particularly impressed, "I've been watching this team all year and boy have these kids gotten better."

The Force will get back to their high frequency, high fun practices and look forward to more matchups against East Lincoln all stars and rematches against Lake Norman.
