DYBA at Davidson College a Hit!

The Davidson Wildcats swept their conference rival Richmond Spiders the first weekend in April at Wilson Field in Davidson. Game 1 saw the Wildcats ace, Nolan Devos throw six shutout innings for the 8-5 win. Game 2 was an extra-inning thriller and Parker Nolan drew a bases loaded walk to secure the 8-7 win, and the series finale saw Nolan hit two home runs to lead his team to a 4-3 win. All 3 games were showcased on ESPN+.

The weather was perfect and 40 DYBA families came out for at least one game. Players who signed up and arrived early were able to meet the players, collect autographs and memorabilia, and take the field with the players. The Wildcats gave fist bumps and high fives as they readied to take the field before each game, then sprinted out to their positions with our DYBA players for the national anthem.

The Wildcats improved their record to 22-5 so far this season and are undefeated in the A-10 conference.  The Wildcats will be on the road at Duke, Virginia Commonwealth, Radford, Saint Bonaventure, and Winthrop before returning home to host Rhode Island on the weekend of April 22.
